[SimpleFLX](https://help.simplevms.com/client-help?hsLang=en#simpleflx) # SimpleFLX: How to Add, Edit, and Notify Shifts ## In this tutorial you will learn how to Add, Edit, and Notify vendors and workers of SimpleFLX shifts. Video Tutorial Below: **How to Create a SimpleFLX Shift** 1\. First Open the **SimpleFLX** page from the left sidebar menu, and open a labor pool. 2\. Scroll down to the job postings section, and click "**View Shifts**" to open the calendar view so you can add, edit, or notify **SimpleFLX** **shifts**. ![](https://help.simplevms.com/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-Oct-07-2025-06-39-08-8983-PM.png?width=670&height=151&name=undefined-Oct-07-2025-06-39-08-8983-PM.png) 3\. To Add a shift, simply click on a day from the calendar to add a shift to that day, enter the number of positions and any backups, pay rate, and choose the start and end times. ![](https://help.simplevms.com/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-Oct-07-2025-06-45-14-7471-PM.png?width=670&height=276&name=undefined-Oct-07-2025-06-45-14-7471-PM.png) 4\. **Repeating Shifts** - You can choose to have the shift repeat, (**Daily, Weekly, Montly**, or **Yearly**) if you select **Daily** for example, you can choose to have the shift **End After** a specified number of occurrences, or change to "End By" and select a specific end date you would like the shift to repeat to. ![](https://help.simplevms.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Oct-07-2025-06-49-13-3276-PM.png?width=670&height=173&name=image-png-Oct-07-2025-06-49-13-3276-PM.png) **How to Notify Vendors and Workers of SimpleFLX shifts** 5\. To **notify** vendors and workers about shifts - simply checkmark the shifts you want to notify, and select "**Notify**".  On the left side you can change which agencies are notified and on the right you can see the workers for each agency listed in the labor pool currently. Once you are ready to notify, simply click Notify in the top right corner of the screen and the workers will receive the notification on their smartphone device. ![](https://help.simplevms.com/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-Oct-07-2025-06-56-43-7192-PM.png?width=1870&height=428&name=undefined-Oct-07-2025-06-56-43-7192-PM.png) **How to Edit / Copy / Delete Shifts** 1\. Select the shifts you want to make edits to and click "**Edit**", here you can make any necessary changes to positions, backups, rate, start and end times, etc. \*Make sure to **save** your changes when complete. 2\. **To Copy, cut, or delete shifts**, simply check mark the shifts, and then either right click and select copy, cut or delete or you can click the buttons at the top of the page. Once you have cut or copied any shifts, you will see a moving line around them indicating you have those shifts copied, you can right click on any day and paste the shifts directly on the calendar.
