SimpleFLX: Overview

Full SimpleFLX Tutorial: Learn how to create a SimpleFLX job posting, add and edit shifts, notify agencies and workers about shifts, and view Talent within the Labor Pool.

Step-by-step instructions:

1. To create a job posting, navigate to the SimpleFLX page from the left sidebar.

2. Choose the relevant pool for which you want to add the job posting.

3. Scroll down to the SimpleFLX Posting section.

4. Here, you will find a list of all current FLX job postings, along with their corresponding shifts. Click on View Shifts to see the details and add shifts to any existing job postings.

To add a new FLX posting:

1. Click Add SimpleFLX Posting.

2. Select the hiring manager, site, and department.

3. Select the job title template you wish to apply. This will automatically populate the information from the previously created job title template. Please review the information and add any missing details to ensure all updates are made.

4. Click Next

5. Select the agencies that you want to notify of the job posting.

6. Determine when you want to notify them of the job posting.  This will default to "immediately", but you can adjust accordingly.

7. Click Next.

8.  A pop-up box will appear, enabling you to set up the schedule.

9. The current date will be highlighted with an orange line. Please ensure that you only add a schedule for today or future dates.  The system will not allow you to edit or delete shifts for the current day. 

10. Select the desired date for adding the schedule. The FLX Shift window will appear, allowing you to specify the number of positions, backups, pay rate, shift label, name, start and end times, and recurrence frequency.

11. Clicking the Save button will finalize your schedule according to the specifications you have selected.

12. To edit future shifts, check the boxes next to the shifts you want to modify, then right-click to view them in a weekly or monthly format. This will highlight the shifts in your selected timeframe for easy selection.

13. The toolbar located at the top of the page, along with the option to right-click on the checkbox associated with each shift, provides you with various actions such as copying, cutting, pasting, editing, or deleting shifts as needed.

14. Click Save to save your schedule changes.

To Notify Agencies and Workers about Shifts:


1. Once your shifts are set, select the ones you want to send and click Notify.

2. Choose which agencies and workers to alert, then click the Notify button. Workers will receive notifications in the SimpleFLX app on their smartphones, and agencies will be notified by email.

To View Talent within the Talent Pool:

1. Within the SimpleFLX pool, scroll to the bottom of the page to view the talent section. This will show you every worker that has been added to the pool by your agencies.

2. Click View Shifts next to a workers name to view any shift assignments.

3. Click the chevron to see addtional information, such as workers phone, email address, and a line chart showing the shifts worked in the last 90 days.
