SimpleFLX: How to Create a Job Posting

The SimpleFLX page provides a list of your current pools, enables you to create job postings based on your staffing needs, and allows you to view the added talent along with their scheduled shifts.

Step-by-step instructions:

1. To create a job posting, navigate to the SimpleFLX page from the left sidebar.

2. Choose the relevant pool for which you want to add the job posting.

3. Scroll down to the SimpleFLX Posting section.

4. Here, you will find a list of all current FLX job postings, along with their corresponding shifts. Click on View Shifts to see the details.

To add a new FLX posting:

1. Click Add SimpleFLX Posting.

2. Select the hiring manager, site, and department.

3. Select the job title template you wish to apply. This will automatically populate the information from the previously created job title template. Please review the information and add any missing details to ensure all updates are made.

4. Click Next

5. Select the agencies that you want to notify of the job posting.

6. Determine when you want to notify them of the job posting.  This will default to "immediately", but you can adjust accordingly.

7. Click Next.

8.  A pop-up box will appear, enabling you to set up the schedule.

9. The current date will be highlighted with an orange line. Please ensure that you only add a schedule for today or future dates.  The system will not allow you to edit or delete shifts for the current day. 

10. Select the desired date for adding the schedule. The FLX Shift window will appear, allowing you to specify the number of positions, backups, pay rate, shift label, name, start and end times, and recurrence frequency.

11. Clicking the Save button will finalize your schedule according to the specifications you have selected.

12. To edit future shifts, check the boxes next to the shifts you want to modify, then right-click to view them in a weekly or monthly format. This will highlight the shifts in your selected timeframe for easy selection.

13. The toolbar located at the top of the page, along with the option to right-click on the checkbox associated with each shift, provides you with various actions such as copying, cutting, pasting, editing, or deleting shifts as needed.

14. Click Save to save your schedule changes. This will notify your agencies of any updates.
