Time & Expenses Page

The Time & Expenses page shows the timesheets and/or expenses that have been created in the system for your workers. By accessing this page, you can also review records of approved and rejected time.

Step-by-step instructions:

1. Navigating the Dashboard

Select Time & Expenses from the left sidebar.

  • Default View: The page automatically displays items in Created or Submitted status. This can be adjusted using the filter dropdowns at the top of the page. 

  • Default Category: The dashboard defaults to showing Both timesheets and expenses simultaneously.

2. Filtering Results

Data Table Filters (Within the Grid) The columns themselves allow for granular sorting and filtering. You can refine your view by interacting directly with the headers in the data table:

  • Client and Site: Filter by specific clients and/or sites

  • Worker Name: Search for individual workers.

  • Status: Find open timesheets or view historical data.

3. Customizing the Data Grid

You can modify the layout of the data table to fit your reporting needs:

  • Add/Remove Fields: Use the Column Chooser to select which data points are visible.

  • Reorder: Click and drag any column header to move it to a new position.

  • Sort: Click a column header to sort the data (e.g., sorting by Worker Name or Date).

  • Restore: Click Reset Layout at any time to return to the original view.

4. Exporting Reports

Once you have filtered and organized your columns, click Export to download the information in Excel or CSV format for your records.
